Designed by Alec Issigonis to address the Suez fuel crisis. Transverse engine and front-wheel-drive maximized interior space. Won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965, and 1967. The Beatles, Peter Sellers, and Steve McQueen all owned one. Over 5.3 million classic Minis sold. John Coopers racing version created the Cooper badge.
