About the Lamborghini Countach
The wedge-shaped supercar that defined the 1970s and 80s. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone. The scissor doors became a Lamborghini trademark. Named after a Piedmontese exclamation of amazement. The rear visibility was so poor drivers used the doors to reverse. Poster car of a generation. Every bedroom wall had one.
